Iran: Rouhani calls for investigations on hijab
The Iranian regime’s president ordered the Interior Ministry to prepare a comprehensive report with the help of Tehran's Social Council on the condition of women’s veiling,
its strengths and weaknesses, and present it to the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution.
The Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution is in charge of controlling more than 26 government agencies enforcing the mandatory veil.
The objective in preparing this report is to find new ways for implementing the mandatory veil. (State-run Fars news agency – July 12, 2016)
