NCRI - In her plenary speech at the Parliament on October 25, Parvaneh Salahshouri, member of Iranian regime’s Parliament, acknowledged parts of the crises afflicting the Mullahs’ regime.
“Unfortunately, a wide-spread administrative corruption has penetrated the system. Embezzlements unprecedented in Iran’s history, unconventional salaries and property giveaways and discounts in the municipality, all are pointing to the penetration of corruption into the country’s administrative system. Unfortunately, instead of dealing with the corruption, the media are being dealt with and the likes of Yashar Soltani are dragged to the court for revealing the organized corruption in the municipality”, said Salahshouri.
She also acknowledged the clash of the rival factions and said: “the country’s current management is suffering from confusion and disorganization; the President says something while his Minister says otherwise. An organization issues a license and the other one overrides it. These kinds of taste-based moves will bring about nothing but confusion as well as political, social and cultural tensions.”
Parvaneh Salahshouri also pointed to the brain drain and said: “emigration of the youth, is losing the assets that will never be replaced. It’s regrettable that an increasing number of our youth especially our scientific elite have been emigrating during the past decade.”
She also acknowledged the deteriorating condition for workers and teachers and while fearing their anger, stated that “ teachers, workers and nurses are deprived of the least living standards. Retirees, especially retired teachers are suffering so much. When faced with the protests of such toiling sectors as teachers and workers, jail is not the answer. Rather, their legitimate demands should be dealt with.”
