Iran: Unemployment Crisis and Presidential Election Dog Fights

NCRI - "Our government has inherited a tsunami of unemployment. The Minister of Labor in Rouhani's government, Ali Rabiei stated on April 26: “the current situation stemming from the previous governments has caused difficulties, and as a result we could not fill the gap between the unemployed and job-seekers although 1million and 900 thousand job opportunities were created."
The Minister of Communication, Mahmoud Vaezi also reiterated the same words, stating that the current government has inherited a mass of unemployment. As Vaezi claims, those who were in office 8 years ago are now coining mottos while they did not bear much of responsibility at that time.
On April 27, Reza Seraj affiliated with Khamenei in response to Rouhani's speech stated, "Which issues do not Rouhani understand? He does not understand the unemployment of the educated youth, the high cost of market baskets for people. He does not understand that how people could live with a subsidy of 15$ per month. The factories are shut down and the workers have been also fired."
He added, "Rouhani cannot understand people's situation while he lives in a mansion that costs 45 billion Tomans ($14 million) and he works in The Sa'dabad Palace and earns a far-fetched amount of salary."
Mahmoud Nabavian affiliated with Khamenei on April 27 referred to Rouhani and said, "This government is the government of shut-downs, recession, and unemployment. Why does the government expect external opportunities?"
In an interview with the state-run Mehr News the Member of the Parliament, Mohammad Dehghan said that Rouhani does not have to hold the power anymore. During the interview, he added, "It is not of the country's best interest to keep Rouhani's government and it is not good for him as well since the country's development has stopped because of his inefficiency."
"We share the common goal in the elections. We are all determined, not to establish the same government for the second round. This is the common goal of mine and of Raisi's. "Another candidate for the Presidential Election, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated in this regard.
In fact, the current unemployment in the country stems from the plunders of the regime during the 38 years. On the eve of Presidential Elections in Iran, each political faction endeavors to win the Election and everyone tries to blame others for the acute social and economic problems.
