Iran: Nurses gathered in protest outside Health Ministry
Trained nurse’s assistants staged a protest gathering across from the Health Ministry on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, against the ministry’s policies.
Some 10,000 trained nurse’s assistants have not been recruited and their employment remains undecided.
They said the Ministry of Health refuses to employ them although they have finished doing their training course.
The nurse’s assistants mostly have high school diplomas and have paid 4 million toumans to do the year-long training course. (The state-run Fars news agency – June 16, 2017)
