Syrian Opposition Chief Negotiator Speaking at Iran Opposition Gathering

NCRI - The Iranian opposition held a gathering on Saturday, June 3rd, in the presence of Maryam Rajavi, President of the National Council of Resistance of Iran, and other political and religious dignitaries from Islamic societies and countries taking part.
Dr. Nasr al-Hariri, head of the Syrian opposition negotiations delegation, delivered a speech calling for the expulsion of Iran from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, emphasizing Iran has flooded Syria with nearly 90,000 sectarian militias from a variety of countries to murder the Syrian people and plunge their revolution into a failure.
He also referred to Iran’s crimes in Syria, saying this regime is killing the Syrian people in order to pursue its expansionist plots to occupy the Levant.
“In the last round of these talks, similar to previous cases, our focus has been on the Khomeini regime and its destructive role in the region,” he said.
“We presented a note there that I can summarize here,” al-Hariri continued.
“First, Iran’s meddling in Syria, like other countries, is illegitimate. Today, there are at least 90,000 foot-soldiers of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards and the Lebanese Hezbollah, Syrian Hezbollah, the Fatemiyoun and other groups present in Syria. They are paid in dinars and dirhams…
“The fight against terrorism is amongst the main priorities of the Syrian National Revolution. This terrorism is symbolized in the Assad and Iranian regimes. To those serious in the fight against terrorism, until the time that the Iranian regime is in power, there can’t possibly be any end to this phenomenon… the main entities behind terrorism today are the mullahs’ regime in Tehran and Bashar Assad in Damascus,” he added.
“I call upon the international community to blacklist the Revolutionary Guards, Lebanese Hezbollah, Iraqi Hezbollah and the mullahs’ mercenaries from various countries. Moreover, we seek effective measures in line with certain timetables for the fight against terrorism. The same measures taken against ISIS and al-Qaeda must take place in various countries across, or else any talk of fighting terrorism will be nothing but an illusion,” al-Hariri emphasized.
“In voice with the NCRI, I seek to highlight the necessity to expel all Iran-backed militias from the entire Middle East,” he added.
“Second, I once again request Iran be expelled from the OIC,” al-Hariri finalized.
