Iran & the uprising solution
Agu. 15,2018 - We recently witnessed store owners in Tehran’s shoe market go on strike for two days, despite authorities dispatching security units to prevent anyone from closing their shops. Prior to that, the textile market closed stores protesting skyrocketing prices and lack of raw material.
The trend of strikes, parallel to ongoing protests by people from all walks of life in Iran, has become the new norm.
"They have got unrest in the streets as a matter of norm now by their people," says Gen. Jack Keane (Ret.) about #Iran & the escalating trend of #IranProtests.
On Sunday a group of retired employees of a textile factory in Qazvin Province in northwest Iran held a protest rally.
A group of Haft Tappeh Sugar Cane Co. employees, a group of college students and a group of truck drivers in the city of Hamedan (western Iran) also held protest rallies in the past few days demanding answers to the issues they have raised many times with authorities.
While this resembles a tip of the iceberg regarding Iran’s protests, it goes to show how the mullahs lack the capability of quelling the growing unrest and dissent. When protests expand nationwide authorities will be left crippled before waves of dissent.
Interesting is how the regime’s own media outlets are acknowledging the growing unrest and posting reports of numerous protests, warning of an “uprising” in the making.

When state-run websites such as Bahar News talk about the amount of gold Iran’s mullahs have sent to Iraq for the religious sites (read stolen), rest assured this has deep social impacts on the country’s turbulent society.
Or Iranians reading in other state-run websites about how the country’s southern soil is being sold to Persian Gulf countries, and thus destroying Iran’s cement exports, this will add fuel to the already raging fire.
On the recent Caspian Sea legal agreement that is raising growing tension in Iran’s society, the people are reading how Iranian regime Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and former president Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani (now dead) have constantly insisted on literally “gifting” Iran’s share of this resource-rich body of water to other countries in return for political gains.
All the reasons above are leading the people into concluding the only solution is revolting against the ruling mullahs. The status quo indicates conditions are ripe more than ever before in Iran for a new revolution. There has never been more ideal circumstances to establish resistance units and councils.
Iran’s regime is fully aware of the influence the PMOI/MEK enjoys among the Iranian people.
“The slogans chanted were directed by the MEK through foreign news channels,” said Ahmad Salek, a pro-Khamenei faction member of Iran’s Majlis (parliament), about of the recent workers’ protests in Esfahan.
This is exactly why the Iranian regime is so utterly concerned about the growing impact of the PMOI/MEK’s influence in today’s society of Iran. The road ahead for the mullahs’ regime looks very rocky and steep.
