NCRI - 300 workers of Lorestan’s Agro-industrial Complex gathered in front of Lorestan (Western Iran) Governor’s place and demanded that their working conditions be dealt with.
Located at the 15th kilometer on the Khoramabad-Andimeshk road, the 1300-acre Lorestan Agro-industrial Complex was set up in 1976 to produce leather, meat products as well as cotton.
Following its closure in 2003, many of the complex workers were dismissed, but it was decided by the managers at the time that they would be invited back to work in case the factory resumed its operation.
