The political prisoner taken to court in handcuffs

NCRI - On Wednesday 23rd November 2016, the political prisoner, Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb was taken to court in handcuffs. He boldly raised his tied hands and declared that his only crime is neither death penalty nor mandatory veiling.
On 13th November 2016, Zartosht Ahmadi Ragheb was detained at his home without any warrant by the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and he was then transferred to ward 209 of Evin prison. After the trial ended, he said to his wife that he will go on hunger strike as a sign of protest, if he is not transferred to the general ward. During this time, he was kept in solitary confinement.
