As Iraq’s Hashad al-Sha’bi militias gained control over the Tal Safuf border crossing on the Iraq-Syria border in Neinawa Province, the Free Syria Tribal Council called on all Arabic and friendly countries, along with all activities forces to take action and confront Iran’s targeted aiming to occupy more areas of Syria’s soil.
This council issued a statement on June 5th strongly denouncing the entrance of Hashad al-Sha’bi and Revolutionary Guards, along with all Iran’s proxy forces into Syria, emphasizing there is no difference between these forces and ISIS… as all play a role in massacring the Syrian people and destroying this country.
Hashad al-Sha’bi forces have crossed the border and occupied a number of villages in Syria’s Hiska Province, reports indicate.
Massacring residents of Maskanah
As pro-Assad forces retook the city of Maskanah, west of Raqqa, reports indicate foreign militias, led by Iran-affiliated Iraqi foot-soldiers and Lebanese Hezbollah forces, are massacring the residents who remained in the city after ISIS’ retreat.
Syrian opposition Orient TV cited activists to report nearly 21 families have been targets of summary executions and more than 50 residents, including women, children and the elderly, are amongst those massacred. These militias have also arrested dozens of the locals who remained in the city.
