Iran: Gorgan’s Prosecutor vows to deal with improperly veiled women
It is essential to take legal action against and confront improperly veiled women who break the social norms and the Prosecutor’s Office will do so with strength and might.
This was announced on Monday, June 20, 2017, by Gorgan’s Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor.
“Some female drivers and passengers think that inside their cars is like their home and is considered private and they take off their scarves, but according to the law this is a transgression and they will be dealt with without any mercy”, Mostafa Haghi added.
