NCRI - Khamenei fears that with the removal of Daesh in Iraq the next one would be Hashed al-Sha’bi militias.
Najeh al-Mizan, an independent Iraqi political figure, told sky news on June 25, 2017: “The Iranian regime and at least Khamenei and his system know well that Ebadi has not come to power with the will of Iranian regime. The Iranian regime’s will and desire was Maliki who was closer to the Velayat-e faqih. But the winds blow in a different direction which was not pleasant to or in favor of the Iranian regime. The regime is now looking after Hashed al-Sha’bi militias.”
“As we get closer to removing Daesh, the actions of Hashed al-Sha’bi and the terror and killings by the militias become more unacceptable. What the greedy Khamenei told Heydar al-Ebadi was to keep and protect Hashed al-Sha’bi. These show that after the end of Daesh, Khamenei fears regional and international protests against Hashed al-Sha’bi and feels danger,” he added.
Najeh al-Mizan pointed out that Iranian regime considers Iraq as one of its provinces and said: “Many officials of this regime say that Iraq is now one of Iran’s capitals.”
“Khamenei also warned Ebadi about getting close to the United States. He fears Iraq gets close to Arab-American coalition in Riyadh. Of course Khamenei’s recommendations and warnings are not effective anymore.
Al-Mizan emphasized that today there is a real unacceptability regarding Iran regime’s presence and its dominance in Iraq and added: “Because today Arab Shiites reject Iranian regime’s presence particularly in Najaf, Karbala, Basra and elsewhere in Iraq.”
