Violent Attack of Regime's Police Forces on Protesting Gold Miners in the North West of Iran + Video



NCRI - According to the published reports, regime's  brutal police forces have attacked and beaten up the protesting laid off workers and their families of Aqdareh gold mine in Western Azerbaijan province on June 15, 2017. 
This mine is located in Takht-e-Soleiman region of Takab city in West Azerbaijan. Workers stated that their protest was peaceful, but they were attacked  by police forces.
Due to this brutal attack , few women were severely injured and became unconscious, and 10 demonstrators were arrested as well, according to this report,  Workers were saying, their only demand was return to work.
One of the workers said: The local people are living in absolute poverty, and now, the Aqdareh mine officials have hired none local workers instead of local ones.
