Iran: The reverberation of 'Death to the Dictator' in Tehran



Iran, Feb. 11, 2018 – A group of young and brave people of Tehran gathered on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30pm local time at the Vali-Asr Sq. to keep alive the last month's uprising in Iran. They chanted 'Death to the Dictator' and other anti-government slogans.
Other residents and youth in the area who heard the chants joined the protest and added their voices to the slogans.

This demonstration concurs the anniversary of the Anti-Monarchy revolution in 1979, where the mullahs' regime has claimed to have mobilized thousands of people to hold this anniversary.
The uprising, which started on Dec. 28, 2017, lasted a few weeks. It started in the religious city of Mashhad and rapidly expanded to some 130 cities and towns in the entire country.
But despite temporarily decrease in those demonstration, Tehran and dozens of other major cities are like the fire under the ashes.
