Mother of political prisoners summoned to Sanandaj intelligence agency

The website of Political Prisoners Alliance reports that on February 4, the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency summoned Dayeh Sharifieh, mother of political prisoners Ramin and Afshin Hossein Panahi. Ramin has been sentenced to death.

According to reports, intelligence agents asked Dayeh Sharifieh to tell her sons to end their hunger strike. She told the agents that her children were unjustly sentenced and that their rights had been greatly violated.

“If the government does not answer them, their father and I will set ourselves on fire outside of the Sanandaj Intelligence Agency”, she added.

The website of Political Prisoners Alliance also reports that on the morning of Saturday, February 3, political prisoner Ali Moezi was called to be transferred to the hospital. Prison agents intended to handcuff him and transfer him to hospital. The political prisoner refused to wear the handcuffs and prison uniform and agents prevented his hospitalization. Ali Moezi is over 60 years old and is suffering from prostate cancer and serious kidney problems.
