The regime’s Health Ministry spokesperson announced the mullahs’ engineered Covid-19 numbers on Monday as 10,463 new cases in the past 24 hours and 5561 in ICUs, both representing unprecedented numbers. 3574 of the new cases have been hospitalized.
“Covid-19 conditions in Ilam province are worsening at an alarming rate. The cities of Ilam, Ivan and Cherdaval are considered black zones, meaning hyper dangerous and many businesses activities are being halted. Thirty percent of the deaths in Ilam are related to the past 45 days. In the past week, the number of new cases in this province were 53.5 people in every 100,000, and the death rate has been reported as around 70 in every million people. Both stats are far above the country’s average,” she said on Monday, according to the regime’s official IRNA news agency.
“In Tehran 150 to 200 people are dying of Covid-19 and air pollution each day and these death tolls are seen in no other city across the globe,” said Tehran City Council chief Mohsen Hashemi on Sunday. “However, it appears the decision-makers do not have the bravery and will to shut down the city and break the illness’ chain reaction to provide a minimum opportunity to rebuild our health care system’s abilities,” he said, according to the Mizan news agency, an outlet linked to the regime’s judiciary.
“The total number of Covid-19 patients in [Isfahan] province, aside from the cities of Kashan and Aran & Bidgol, stand at 2058, of which 381 are in ICUs. We have had 41 Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours,” said the spokesperson for the Isfahan Medical Sciences University on Sunday, according to the Javan daily, a newspaper linked to the Revolutionary Guards (IRGC).
“For the first time we have had 15 coronavirus deaths in one day and this is above the country’s average,” said an official of the South Khorasan province Covid-19 Task Force on Monday, according to Javan.
The Kerman Medical Sciences University spokesperson announced the number of Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours as 25, according to a report wired on Monday by the IRGC-linked Fars news agency. “A total of 1342 people have died of this virus in Kerman province,” the official added.
In Khuzestan province, Sina Hospital in the town of Kut Abdullah, as the only hospital in this area, has all its ICU beds filled and the entire Khuzestan province is facing a shortage in ICU beds. Five hospitals in Ahvaz and one hospital in each city of Khuzestan province are engaged in accepting Covid-19 patients, according to a Monday report wired by the semi-official ISNA news agency.
A state-run newspaper wrote the number of Covid-19 deaths are far more than ordinary deaths. “Comparing the country’s death toll with previous years indicates the number of deaths in the summer of 2020 was around 35,000 more than the death toll announced prior to the coronavirus pandemic. The deaths resulting from Covid-19 during the summer season and the threat of this illness reached around 37 percent of the country’s deaths. All the while this increase during the spring season was around 19 percent. If there are no measures, in the fall season it will reach above 60 percent and during the winter we will double the record. In Tehran, the number of deaths in the past eight months since March was around 43 percent. However, from October 22nd to the 31st, the number of deaths has doubled in comparison to 2019. In other words, coronavirus deaths in Tehran is above the normal death count. There is a high possibility that it will lead a more expansive spread of the virus across the country. This trend will continue,” the Monday article in Etemad daily indicates.
