NCRI - Municipal agents of Aliabad-e Katul in Mazandaran province (Northern Iran) along with a number of law enforcement agents have attempted to destroy the rural houses in ‘Afratakhteh’ village.
The excuse for this vicious measure has been announced to be ‘construction without conforming to the municipal regulations’.
In an attempt to justify this cruel act, the state news agency ‘Fars’ has written on Wednesday October 5: “one of the many advantages of the Islamic Republic regime is the rule of law and Sharia in the country as well as protecting personal rights while respecting the national rights.” The destruction and eradication of rural houses in Afratakhteh by order of ‘Ramezan Jamshidi’, public and revolutionary prosecutor in Aliabad-e Katul, has been called a ‘revolutionary act’ by this news agency.
In his interview with Fars news agency, Ramezan Jamshidi has said in this regard: “unfortunately some people in Afratakhteh had attempted to build unauthorized houses which was against the law and we attempted to destroy them all.”
He added: “the issued verdict was to fully destroy the unauthorized buildings, and the executive office has strictly attempted to destroy them.”
The sentence was strictly implemented on Sunday October 2 by the Aliabad-e Katul court’s executive office.
