Iran Regime Engulfed in Serious Crisis of Corruption and Embezzlement

NCRI - The Iranian regime’s Justice Minister admits to financial and administrative corruption calling it the biggest disaster in the country. According to state-run Javan news agency on November 8, Justice Minister, Pour-Mohammadi in a press conference, held at the 22nd media exhibition, admitted: “The big problem that has plagued our country on domestic and foreign issues is financial and administrative corruption. This disaster is more dangerous than the external enemy for us.”
He pointed out the crisis and serious consequences of corruption and embezzlement in the regime and said: “If our foreign enemy is greedy, it depends on the amount of corruption, that means the more the corruption, the greedier the enemy will be. Therefore, reforms need to be done in this regard and we should emphasize on prosecution (of the offenders).
Since the leaders and officials of the regime are the main perpetrators of corruption and embezzlement, Pour-Mohammadi admitted inability of the regime to solve the crisis and said: “We in the 11th (Rouhani’s) government have used all our power to reform the contexts but it should be said that reforming the contexts to prevent corruption would take time.
