Opposition Calls for Expulsion of Iran Regime From OIC

NCRI - The Iranian opposition (National Council of Resistance of Iran) has asked the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to expel Iran from that body. The NCRI’s foreign affairs committee chair Mohammad Mohadesin said that he has sent a letter to the FMs of the OIC’s executive committee who had a meeting in Jeddah yesterday, condemning firing a missile to the holy city of Mekka, the ultimate holy place of 1.7 billion Muslims, and stating that the attack has been carried out by the direct order of Khamenei and under the supervision of the Quds Force which once again proves that the ruling regime of Mullahs in Iran is not going to stop its criminal acts, desecration, aggression and sedition against the Arab and Islamic countries.
Seyed Almohaddessin added that in his letter, a copy of which has been received by Alsharq paper, he has asked the OIC’s FMs in the meeting to expel the Iranian regime from the OIC, thus playing their role in the best way possible in dealing with the biggest threat of the current era. Seyed Almohaddessin said that the Iranian regime has got used to attacking the Islamic holy places. He has stated in his letter that no other country in recent history has attacked Masjid al-Haram (the Sacred Mosque in Mecca) to the extent that the Iranian regime has done, by smuggling explosives to Saudi Arabia in 1986 in order to create chaos in 1987 which led to 400 pilgrims losing their lives. Also this regime did not hesitate to explode two Shiite holy places in the cities of Mashhad and Samarra (in 1994 and 2006), only to maintain its disgraceful authority.
“Targeting Mecca is declaring war against all Muslims in the world, and expelling Tehran from the OIC and cutting ties with the Iranian regime by the Islamic countries will be a necessary step as well as a proper response to this move”, said Mohaddessin at the end of his letter.
