All voices confirm Iranian regime’s alternative
July 15, 2018 - Looking at the news and various pieces wrote about Iran, we come to this conclusion that all reports, remarks and positions taken by senior Iranian regime officials, discussions around Iran and talks published in international media regarding the Iranian opposition confirm the fact that the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and its pivotal member, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), comprise the alternative to Tehran’s mullahs.
This goes against the Iranian regime’s claims of the PMOI/MEK being nothing but a small group and only proves how Tehran is very worried about their potential.
These days many Iranians are asking what movement has the power to overthrow the ruling mullahs in Iran. What movement can provide an alternative to the mullahs’ regime to ultimately establish democracy in Iran?
In modern history, which government has dispatched an official diplomat based in a foreign country to take part in a terror attack targeting an opposition rally? And this comes in circumstances that Europe, and the entire world for that matter, are on high alert to prevent terror attacks?
What kind of a government delivers a packaged bomb using its diplomat, passing it through sensitive security clearances of a number European countries, into the hands of a terrorist couple tasked to target a large opposition convention near Paris?
How important is this opposition that the Iranian regime is willing to accept all the embarrassment and threats to have them targeted?
Why isn’t this government resorting to such drastic measures against any other entity that claims to be an opposition movement? And in fact, there are reports indicating this regime sends its own operatives to chant slogans in rallies staged by those who claim to oppose the mullahs’ regime.

“This crowd (of Khamenei operatives) have become so audacious that a number of them were seen directing a group of people towards the parliament with chants of ‘Long live Reza Shah’ (referring to the Pahlavi dynasty in power prior to the 1979 revolution). They were also escorted by the police. These people are the same group of individuals seen taking part in Friday prayers and the various marches.”

When a regime risks such threats, doesn’t it prove how important this movement is for the ruling elite?
We usually only place our hands before a coming spear when it is about to pierce our heart. Could this be how Iran’s regime is feeling at this moment?
