Comoros Shuts Down All Iranian Regime's Institutes in the Country

NCRI - Comoros ambassador to Saudi Arabia announced Sunday 22 January that all Iranian regime’s offices operating under the guise of charity have been shut down.
Iranian regime’s media have cited Asharq al-Awsat as reporting that Comoros ambassador to Saudi Arabia al-Habib Abbas Abdullah has stated that “taking advantage of Comoros’ poor economic situation, Iranian institutes have secretly attempted to attract people there. The institutes were apparently set up to help poor people but were actually operating in line with Iranian regime’s objectives.”
Al-Habib Abbas also declared his country’s willingness to take part in the Islamic Military Alliance and added that “as Comoros is an Arabic-Islamic country, we should join our brothers in such a large coalition. The President has obliged me to announce Saudi leaders that Comoros is ready to take part in the military alliance and deploy its troops not only to serve in the coalition but to protect Saudi Arabia’s borders, since we regard Saudi’s security as part of Comoros Island’s security and in our view, an attack on Saudi Arabia is an attack on Comoros.”
It should be pointed out that Comoros is an archipelago in the Indian Ocean, located in southeastern Africa between east coast of Mozambique and northwestern Madagascar. The country has an area of 2236 square kilometers and its population is about 800,000.
