- Thursday, 13 April 2017 09:48
NCRI - Khaled Dehghan, a sick prisoner from Saravan (Southeastern Iran), was beaten by deputy warden in Saravan Prison.
Instead of addressing and treating his illness, the sick prisoner Khaled Dehghan, suffering from neurological problems in Saravan Prison, has been put under torture, according to Baloch Activists Campaigners. Dehghan has been arrested and sentenced to 15 years in jail on drug-related charges.
The reason for beating Dehghan has been reported to be his protest against not addressing his illness. It’s been reported that Deputy Warden of Saravan Prison has beaten Dehghan with a high-voltage cable while insulting and humiliating him.
Mr. Khaled Dehghan was arrested in September 2012.
