Orient TV Interview With Dr. Zahedi Chairman of NCRI Judiciary Committee
NCRI - On December 26, the Syrian opposition Orient TV reported: “After occupation of Aleppo with Russian support, Pasdar Mohammad Ali Jafari, Commander in Chief of the Iranian regime Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), said Aleppo is the frontline defence of the so-called Islamic Revolution. He acknowledged that the Iranian regime's security domain is broad and has crossed Iran’s borders.”
In this regard, Dr. Zahedi, Chairman of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI’s) Judiciary Committee, in an interview with Orient TV said: “Jafari’s comments show the true nature of Iranian regime. It is clear that the regime of Velayat-e faqih does not recognize any geographic border, and if this regime is left free (to continue its aggression and crimes), it will even go to Indonesia.”
“The regime cannot survive without war and crisis. The reason for the regime officials expressing such comments is that they want to escape forward. As the regime’s problems inside Iran, in the region and in the world grow, the regime runs forward to the same extent (to escape its collapse and inevitable destiny of being overthrown). This is the nature of this regime,” Dr. Zahedi added.
Chairman of the NCRI’s Judiciary Committee continued: “We've had a lot of experience in this field. The regime of Velayat-e faqih cannot respond to any needs of Iranian people. At least 60 percent of Iranians live below the poverty line. Over 30 million Iranians suffer from hunger. These are the words that the regime officials have been saying (and acknowledging) with full obscenity.”
“In fact, the Velayat-e faqih regime has perished and perishes the cultivation and the generation (the life) and the Iranian people have on many occasions raised their voices against the regime. You have heard that football fans chanted slogans in Ahvaz stadium and said ‘Bashar Go away, Get lost,’ and also university students in Tehran said (Iranian regime’s role in the carnage and massacre in) Syria is a great crime that the history will hold us accountable for,” Dr. Zahedi said.
